1. Ensure candles are burned in a supervised area. Keep candles away from children and pets.
2. Avoid storing your candles in environments where they will be exposed to direct sunlight or harsh indoor lighting. If you store your candles in a cool, dark, dry place, they will give off some fragrance. Harsh lighting can cause discoloration of the wax. Warm temperatures may cause some melting of the wax.
3. It may take up to two hours for wax to melt across the entire surface to the sides of the vessel after lighting for the first time.
4. To maximize scent throw, burn in a closed space for half an hour. Open windows and doors will disperse scent. 
5. To preserve the fragrance, limit your burn time to 4 hours. Dispose of the excess wick after each burn. Trim the wick to 1/4 inches before and after each burn. Click here to purchase a wick trimmer.
6. If soot builds up inside of the vessel, extinguish the candle, allow it to cool before cleaning with a moist cloth. Once it has dried,trim the wick and relight.
7. Please keep the wax pool free of debris, especially when the wick is burning.
8. To prevent smoking and hot wax splattering, extinguish the candle with a snuffer, or dip the wick into melted wax and then straighten it. Click here to purchase a candle snuffer.
9. Do not blow out. Extinguish a candle if it smokes, flickers, or burns too high. These signs indicate the flame isn't controlled and is a potential fire hazard. Let the candle cool, trim the wick, then check for drafts before re-lighting.
10. Do not burn your candle all the way down.  Always leave at least ½ inch of unmelted wax at the bottom of the vessel.
